Watervliet’s 1st Avenue closure expected to last until Oct. 16

Watervliet’s closure of 1st Avenue between Route 32 and 7th Street is expected to remain in place until Oct. 16, according to a city notice published Sept. 30.
The stretch is closed to through traffic for CSO Elimination Project construction. The city said the expected end date depends on weather and site conditions.
