Watervliet reported work underway on 7th Street between 3rd and 4th avenues in an Oct. 8 update on its CSO infrastructure project. The city said the upgrades are intended to manage stormwater runoff and protect Hudson River water quality.

The update identified two crews: one continuing the 7th Street work and another restoring pedestrian ramps on 3rd and 4th streets between Broadway and 1st Avenue.

Pipe installation on 4th Street between 5th and 6th avenues was planned for the week of Oct. 12. The city also said sidewalk work at the alley on 2nd Street was planned for that week, with Luizzi expected to begin after Tuesday’s trash collection.

The Oct. 8 notice does not confirm whether those scheduled tasks have begun.
