Schenectady County Public Health Services will hold its final pet rabies vaccination clinic of 2026 on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at Princetown Town Hall, 165 Princetown Plaza in Princetown.
The drive-thru clinic is free for Schenectady County residents and will vaccinate cats, ferrets and dogs. Appointments are required.
Appointment scheduling and information are available at schenectadycountyny.gov or by calling (518) 386-2818. Online registration lets residents select an appointment time and provide animal information so public health staff can prepare a vaccination certificate for each pet.
Cats and ferrets must be in carriers, and dogs must be leashed.
According to county public health officials, the drive-thru format helps reduce stress on animals and wait times while allowing residents to bring multiple pets in one visit.
