Schenectady County is offering 19 foreclosed lots in an online auction that closes Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, at 11 a.m., the county announced Oct. 6.

The offerings include single-family and two-family properties, an auto body property, and rural, residential and industrial vacant land. Auction information is available at collarcityauctions.com.

Gary Hughes, chair of the Schenectady County Legislature, said the county’s goal is to return the properties to use and to the tax rolls.

According to the county, more than 465 properties have returned to the tax rolls through its auction process since 2008, either through sales or redemption by owners with delinquent taxes. Other properties have been transferred to local municipalities or dedicated as parkland.
