Cohoes garbage and recycling pickup will move from Tuesday, Nov. 3, to Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, because of Election Day, the city announced.
No garbage or recyclables will be collected on Nov. 3. The Wednesday collection applies to material normally picked up on Tuesdays.
The holiday closures also cover Cohoes City Hall offices, court offices, the library and the Department of Public Works.
