Kenwood Avenue overnight closures planned for Nov. 5 and 6 in Bethlehem

The stretch between Rockefeller Road and Winne Place will be closed to all traffic, including emergency vehicles, during water main and culvert work.

Kenwood Avenue between Rockefeller Road and Winne Place in Bethlehem is scheduled to close to all traffic during overnight work on Nov. 5 and 6, according to a town notice. The announced closure hours are 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for both dates.

Emergency vehicles also will be unable to pass through the closed stretch. The town identified Elsmere Avenue and Bender Lane as alternate routes.

HMA Contracting will install two water main tie-ins and perform cross-culvert replacement work. If inclement weather affects the Nov. 5 work, Nov. 9 will serve as the backup date, the notice said.
